SettingDescription

Form Name

The internal name of the form (guests do not see this)

Public / Private

Who can access the form (see Using private RSVP form links)

Guest List

Which guest list new responses are added to

Form URL slug

The custom part of your form URL (e.g., rsvp-me.to/your-slug)

Unique Email Registration

When enabled, each email address can only be used for a single registration. Toggle this option to prevent duplicate accounts.

Note: This setting only detects duplicates on the associated guest list of that form, not across the whole event or all guest lists.

Confirmation Email

You have the option to select an active email template here. This email is sent once a guest clicks the submit button of the form. Perfect for automated confirmation emails with QR codes.

Email Notifications (coming soon)

Send a notification email for each response to one or more email addresses, mainly used to keep yourself or your team in the loop in realtime

Form closure Options

Close the form right away, on a specific date, or when your assigned guest list hits a certain number of guests.

Link Preview and Favicon

Customize your form’s appearance on social media channels and add a favicon for the browser tab. Note that these features are for sharing the existing form. To embed a public form into your website, use the embed feature.

Embed Form

Use the ready-to-use embed code to place the form on your website, complete with customization options. Keep in mind that this feature requires the form to be private.

Confirmation email vs. notification email

OptionBest for

Confirmation email

This is the 'Thank you' or 'You are confirmed' email sent to guests after they complete a form or press submit. Sending it requires: (1) an active email template to assign, and (2) either a default email field on the form or an existing email address in the guest's profile.

Notification email (coming soon)

This is the email notification sent to you or your team each time a guest RSVPs. You can only select team members as recipients. Please note that the account used for these notifications may receive a high volume of emails.

Limiting responses

SettingUse case

Limit Responses per Guest List

Your breakfast registration form has a maximum capacity (e.g., 50 seats). Once 50 responses are on the breakfast guest list, the form closes automatically.

Limit Responses per Event (coming soon)

Your event has a maximum capacity (e.g., 500 seats). Once 500 responses are across your lists, all forms close automatically, and a warning appears if you try to add guests manually.

Email notifications

When enabled, you and your team will receive an email every time a guest submits the form.

Example use cases:

  • Sales team gets notified when a VIP registers (VIP form)
  • Event manager tracks real-time RSVP counts
  • Support team follows up with guests who have special requests (Tip: show relevant field responses directly in the email)

Form status

StatusWhat it means

Open

The form is live and accepting responses.

Closed

The form is closed. Guests will see a "Form is no longer accepting responses" or a custom message.

Note: You can switch a form back to Open at any time. No data is lost when you close or open a form.

Pro tips

  • Set form response limits. Once the limit is reached, the form closes automatically – no need to monitor manually.
  • Test notifications. Submit a test response to ensure email notifications are working.
  • Deactivate the form after the event. This prevents unwanted submissions once your event is over.
