Install the Check-in App on your iPad, iPhone, Android device, or laptop – or use it directly in your browser. Works everywhere, no matter what hardware you have.

Before your team can check anyone in, you'll need to install the Check-in App on every device that will be used at the entrance.

Truly device independent. The Check-in App works everywhere - on iPads, iPhones, Android devices, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. No matter what hardware you have available, you can turn it into a fully functional check-in station.

Apple App Store

Search for "Check-in Pax" and download the native iPad app.

iPhone

Web browser (PWA)

Open Safari or Chrome, go to app.checkinpax.com, log in, then tap Share → Add to Home Screen to install it as an app.

Android (tablets & phones)

Chrome browser

Open your browser, go to app.checkinpax.com, and use the browser's Install or Add to Home Screen option.

Other tablets (Windows, etc.)

Open your browser, go to app.checkinpax.com, log in, and use the browser's Install option.

Laptop or desktop computer

Log into your Check-in Pax account, click the Check-in App button in the menu, and use it directly in your browser.

For the full-screen iPad-like experience, press F11 (Windows) or use the browser's full-screen mode. This hides the browser address bar and gives you maximum screen space for checking in guests.

For a full App-like experience on Windows install the Web App via your browser. Look for the install icon in your search bar or click the installer pop up.

Installation steps for each device:

iPad (native app):

  1. Open the Apple App Store.
  2. Search for Check-in Pax.
  3. Tap Download or Get.
  4. Once installed, open the app and log in.

iPhone (PWA - add to home screen):

  1. Open Safari (recommended) or Chrome.
  2. Go to app.checkinpax.com.
  3. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow).
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Tap Add. The app icon will now appear on your home screen like any other app.
  6. Log in with your account credentials.

Android:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to app.checkinpax.com.
  3. Tap Install when you see the pop up. (Or click the Share icon (square with an arrow) and scroll down and tap Install or Add to Home Screen.)
  4. The app icon will now appear on your home screen like any other app.
  5. Log in with your account credentials.

Other tablets (PWA):

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Go to app.checkinpax.com.
  3. Log in with your account credentials.
  4. Look for the Install icon in the browser address bar or click the installer pop up in the lower right corner.
  5. Follow the prompts to install.

Laptop or desktop computer:

  1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox).
  2. Log into your Check-in Pax account at app.checkinpax.com.
  3. Click the Check-in App button in the main menu.
  4. The check-in interface will load in your browser.
  5. For the full-screen iPad-like experience, press F11 (Windows) or use the browser's full-screen mode. This hides the browser address bar and gives you maximum screen space for checking in guests.

First-time login:

After installing or accessing the app, log in using the same email and password you use for your web browser account. You'll then see a list of all your events. Select the event you're currently managing. The app will then download the guest list and settings for that event. This may take a few moments depending on the size of your guest list.

Pro tip: Set up all your devices at least one day before your event. This gives you time to test everything, name your devices, and train your team.
